T-Mobile NL offers FREE Navigon navigation Benelux for ALL iPhone customers

VERY good news this morning, T-Mobile in the Netherlands will as from right now offer free Navigion Benelux Navigation to all customers. From the Appstore, users can download the free version. At first load it will check whether you are a valid T-Mobile customer. If so; you’ll have the full version avaialble. Of course, without the cradle from the picture. Check this link from Dutch tech blog tweakers.net for more info.

Strong crosswind landing – Lufthansa

A colleague of me shared this movie via Facebook. It’s a classic example of how scary a landing in strong wind can look like. This pilot was eventually forced to abort his landing. Check how the wingtip almost hits the runway… amazing.

Bernard Karsten, Tour de Waard

Today Bernard Karsten celebrated his annual fan day for the first time. The event was at the Raadhuisplein in Heerhugowaard during Tour de Waard. Many people came to enjoy Bernard and several friend artists during a great afternoon packed with music.

Age of Empires Online!

OH my god! My addiction of the past has been revived. No single game has ever occupied as much hours of my (childhood) life as the Age of Empires series (especially AOE II). Now a new age has come (yep, the twenty first century), and AOE returns!

This is a very much simplified version of the game (at least the UI) which is completely focussed on online gameplay. This sounds so nice, I hope they’ll develop a good concept and have it available for free. If so, I might very much give this new game a try!

Adobe Photoshop for iPAD and iPHONE, FREE!

Adobe is nicely integrating there mobile.photoshop.com to other platforms. Today they announced that there mobile photoshop will now be available on iPhone, iPad and Android. The version for the iPad is of course massively interesting as you’ll have a large screen at your disposal and can easily connect a sd card reader to the device.

This app is very interesting for on the road tasks like rescaling, straightening and slightly editing your images. It’s available from the appstore as from now.

Malaysia, Johannesburg, Beijing…… Or maybe the Cape Verde Islands 500 km off the coast of west Africa at the height of Senegal & Dakar? We’re still so much in doubt about our next holiday destination. For the mentioned destinations the tickets are kind of affordable while for everything else outside of Europe they are way too expensive in the period we’d like to travel.

Below movie does appeal to me a lot – although it’s kind of an advertisement for Strela Beer – it does perfeclty show the beauty of the Cape Verde Islands. Jep, this is really appealing, I wouldn’t mind going there, island hopping.

New bicycle! Cube Peleton, next year Tour de France?

Yesterday evening i’ve bought myself a brand new bicycle. I kind of see it as a present to myself after having lost 20 kilograms. I really want to keep in shape now and a new hobby like cycling a racing bicycle will definitially help that!
